People. It's not 1987. You aren't using System 6. Your hard drive isn't 10 MB any longer. You aren't using a 300 baud modem. Just let this thing go.

What are you doing sending a .dmg file to a Windows user? Sending a .pdf? Then send it as a .pdf. Sending a .jpg? Then send it as a .jpg.Tuesday, October 21 2008 @ 11:42 AM PDT

Well, unless you only interact with only Mac people then yes, however, for the rest of us that interact with MS Windows and Linux people that send files as zip, tar.gz, tgz, and other compression formats we will still need this, at least for the graphical interface. I know you can do command line for these but some still like the graphical interface of Stuffit.Tuesday, October 21 2008 @ 10:13 AM PDT

Command line? Are you serious? I deal with Windows and Linux users on a daily basis and haven't needed Stuffit for years now. I think you're drinking the Stuffit KoolAide or something.Tuesday, October 21 2008 @ 11:47 AM PDT
