I thought this might be a quicker way to check who is connected to my network ---- info I can get in real time from my wireless router at any time with my browser.
It doesn't even do that.
Doesn't see beyond my router (or even into the router). It doesn't see anything but my Mac and the router. A DSL Modem, a printer and two other PC's are on the network. Apparently, (i'm guessing here because I did not pursue it any further) the companion IP Broadcaster needs to be installed ---??
IP Scanner
