I have the first version of Bento, and I bought it based on the reviews and my own use of the trial version. I bought it in June or July 2008. I gave feedback they requested, and I waited anxiously for the new, improved version at a reasonable upgrade price.

Now, finally, comes Bento 2. Take a close look at the website for Bento 2.0v2, and check out those so-called "rave reviews" they're bragging about. Look at the dates of those reviews. Those are for the first Bento, not the new one. Show me a rave review with a September or October '08 date on it!

Go read the Bento Forum if you want to see how many people got hooked into believing they were helping to make the product better. We were, but now they want us to pay for the ideas we shared with them.
