"invalid character" bug

When I try to use this widget I get this red alert:
? Invalid character on left side:/
Am I doing something wrong? I enter for example:
5*4=
and hit the enter key.

When you use the equals sign =, Calc Board thinks you want to define a variable.

Just omit it. The correct syntax would be: 5*4
