Being a Mac user I'm used to Windows only but now we getting Intel only. Sick of it.

Except that there is NO 3.0 PowerPC release version there. Only dev builds.

Perhaps you should read the reviews more thoroughly yourself.

This is still RC4, not final.
The very strange thing is that here: http://download.openoffice.org/other.html
there are the 3.0 versions in French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish, but no English version !!!
