Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I've tried so many FTP clients, and overall as far as overall capabilities go, Cyberduck is hard to beat. I like that it offers SFTP, SCP and using your public key (hooray!), but sadly, it just isn't stable on my computer.

I am running a Macbook Pro / 10.5.5 / 3g of RAM and my computer is otherwise solid. However, Cyberduck keeps crashing. It crashed 3 times in the past half hour so I've had to ditch it for the more reliable Captain FTP and/or Fugu.

If the stability issues that I and others are dealt with, then I will gladly return to Cyberduck. Until then...

Works on wired iMac but not wireless Macbook Pro - shish1

Another note is that this same version works without any problems on my iMac 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. It seems I'm not the only one having this odd issue. My iMac is connected via ethernet while my Macbook Pro is connected via Airport. Perhaps that's where the issue is..?
