They don't even bother with Universal binary

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: Ilgaz Thursday, October 09 2008 @ 08:23 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Why wouldn't Mac users keep using MS Office and NeoOffice, iWork while they don't even bother building a PPC binary?

Who are they not to support PPC anyway?

PPC version is available here: http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/. You'll find it in the directory for RC4 which became the final version released today.

They do support PPC. Several folks have so noted and provided links to the web site where you can get it.

When I use the link listed, I get the file not found error. How are you able to access that link?
