Vlc has some cool features I started to use often now, like the video screen capture for screencasts. (no sound for now but I have GarageBand…)

I also watch long videos from youtube & co by pasting the url in vlc, like that I can watch 30mn or + with my cpu at 10% (not the 999% cpu and the fans at 99999999rpm with the ugly flash plugin!)
