Existing users, 
I own Wiretap Pro. Every time launch it tells me a new version is available to fix bugs. The only new version available is WireTap Studio which as a $30 upgrade. My version, 1.3.2, only lists support for Mac OS 10.4.x. not Leopard.
This is built in obsolescence that is designed to rip Ambrosia customers off.... I don't want to spend $70 or even the "HEAVILY" discounted price of $30 to keep up with the current OS. I already paid for Wiretap Pro!!!!
All the competing titles, such as Audio Hijack Pro and Fission, which costs $32 to begin with, offer much more for less then half of what you charge for your product.
So before investing in an Ambrosia product be aware that they will not support their product to be usable in the future.... unless you pay.

As noted above, WireTap Studio replaces WireTap Pro, which is a product that has been end of life'd. We do, however, offer a version of WireTap Pro that works fine on Leopard. I think it is important to also note that WireTap Studio has features such as LivePreview, lossless original recordings, and a number of others that no other product on the market has.

We are sorry for this miscommunication. WireTap Studio replaces WireTap Pro, it is not an update to the previous version, but a completely new and improved product. There is a check box that you should allow you to dismiss this alert from ever popping up again.Since WireTap Studio is now replacing WireTap Pro, Ambrosia is no longer supporting WireTap Pro. Which isn't unusual in the software industry, Adobe doesn't support the older version of Photoshop as they continue to create newer software.
