Why would I pay you 5 bucks when I can download Remind (a free Unix utility) and Geektools for free???

Remind + Geektools - Rawtext - Arts&Bits

Maybe because Remind is almost as complex as a programming language and takes quite some effort to learn, while iCal is not?
