Why not just buy a cheap fast PC from ebay. Soon as I come into some money soon I'm buying a full blown Non-intel Tiger 10.4.11 G5 desktop and a PC desktop. Then I'll be in computer heaven.

I've never used a PC but from the people I know that use them it can't be that hard to learn.
I'm surprised they can dress themselves in the morning.

The reason I don't buy a cheap PC is because I have a Mac laptop and don't want to haul two computers with me wherever I go. Sometimes I need Windows applications. Why should I have to carry two laptops when the need arises?

I'm a systems administrator and manage our network from a desktop Mac. I do, however, need access to two Windows applications - a call manager for our Avaya phone system and, occasionally, Outlook (Entourage won't do). Why should I bother to have a second computer on my desk when for a lot less cost I can run those two applications easily on the Mac?

not very bright - Born Yesterday

You'd rather buy an obsolete G5 Mac and a winblows machine?

Not very bright are you, for the same money or less you could buy an Intel Mac and do 2 platforms in one machine.

I have a 2400 baud modem for $1,000 if you wanna buy some more obsolete crap.

People really hate me on versiontracker, no matter how many ID's they ban. So I chilled out.

I get all my software free, well most of it. I have paid for a dozen or so application, because they were priced right and really great. I really only need PC windows to run the pain in the ass keygen to crack apps. I became that way after being screwed by the makers of Watson, so now all developers have to pay for what they did, forever.

I did end up buying an Intel iMac. I was just one of those die hard Mac users that didn't like PC parts in my Mac. It's like when Harley Davidson sold out for awhile to AMC or what ever that company was. Not that I'm a biker, I hate bikers. I just have too much knowledge upstairs, damn 174 IQ. I can't stop thinking, it's even hard to sleep.
