...because v 1.1.1 will not install on my G5 dual running OSX 10.5.5 (Because "an error occurred".) Perhaps I have something incompatible but what?

I got a similar error when using Perian's built-in update feature. But a fresh download and install worked fine on my Dual-Core MacPro running 10.5.5.

Perian 1.1.1 installed without any problems on my late-2005 2 GHz dual-core G5 PowerMac.
