In my search for terminal emulators & telnet clients that properly display BBS ANSI graphics, I was delighted to discover that along with SyncTERM, this program also supports ANSI graphics...if you choose the right font in its preferences. I found the "Smoothansi 6x15" font to be the best for this purpose.

Furthermore, you can use the mouse's scroll wheel to scroll up and down screens without having to hit any other modifier keys first.

I was also surprised to discover that web links in on-screen BBS text documents are treated as live links and will actually launch your web browser and take you to the page.

As others here have already stated, GLterm is also very fast. I hit a BBS command and didn't even realize that a window had already refreshed itself.

Now for the negative. Unless I am mistaken, this program does NOT support file transfers over TCP/IP. If it does, I certainly couldn't figure out how to do it. In fact, while trying to get Xfers to work, I got a kernel panic a few times, and even crashed my entire computer a few times. If file transfers worked, I would switch from SyncTERM to this program in a flash. That is how much I like it.

The other negative seems to be that nothing under the "Control" menu appears to work...at least I was unable to get them to work.

I really wish that the developer would take a renewed interest in this project, as even in its current state, I was impressed.

Are you listening buddy? :)
