Unfortunately UMP still does not work with Firefox 3, and the developer is also not saying wether and/or when a Firefox 3 compatible update will be available. After years of using UMP that's kind of sad. Fortunately I found Butler - which can do everything that UMP could and much more (and works with Firefox 3).

Switched now to Butler - alajuela

I am a long time user of URLMP, and apart from the "OS 9" look, love it. I use Quicksilver as my keyboard launcher, having bought LaunchBar and left it for Q, and tried Butler, but not grokking it. Help me understand how Butler replicates URLMP functionality. I don't see it.

Well, I went and tried Butler again. Been a while since I donated, a long while. I agree the bookmark manager is pretty nice. It's not a truly integrated bookmark manager, i.e., your bookmarks remain separate for each browser, but I can see where someone might like that. At first, when I invoked a Firefox bookmark, it still opened in my primary browser Safari. But I found out how to change that, though the setting seemed flaky at first,so that is encouraging. All in all, pretty nice. Again, not quite the same as URLMP, but very nice. Now, I have to decide if Butler is enough to make me give up Quicksilver.

VersionTracker does not list a bookmark manager named Butler. Do you have a reference or url?
