It should be noted somewhere that the versions available for this program are for Protestant versions of the Bible. King James and English Standard (ESV) which are non-catholic.
Just would be a courtesy. I'm not criticizing the product, just the lack of clarity in the description.
BTW, if a NAB (New American Bible) version were made available, I would be one of the first to download.

Roman Catholic Translations - albertpigeon
That's not true. At least two Roman Catholic translations are available for download. The Douay-Rheims Bible, Challoner Revision is available in the English [en] section and the Latin Vulgate is also available but in the Latin [la] section of course. Both can be found at:http://www.crosswire.org/sword/modules/ModDisp.jsp?modType=Bibles

You are right to a certain degree, but they do offer one very good Bible translation that has the complete Scriptures. The Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition.
Translation of the Latin Vulgate. Public Domain.
I use it all the time.
I hope that you find this acceptable.

We would be happy to have the NAB.I don't know of the progress here but mainly we depend on whether we get permission from Bible societies to use and make freely availavle their bible texts.
