Same issue as PETERPICA; I am getting the error message "The variable baseImage is not defined. (-2753)".

System Info:OS X v. 10.4.11

What worked for me was setting the Dock Icon option to no change in the Player tab of the Preferences.

(after getting fed up and not finding ANY answers posted... it was really, really much simpler to figure it out myself)
