Interesting application, but could use a little work. it feels very clustered/busy, because the preferences aren't located in a separate window accessible from a menu item. I feel it would be much more unobtrusive it it appeared onscreen as a much more simplified list. Additionally, a feature worth considering would be better indicators of which friends have just come online or just left. Personally, i feel this would be best accomplished if the names of friends that have just been added to the list appear in the list for a brief time (maybe 1.5 seconds?) in bold, and the names of those who have gone offline appear in italics for 1.5 seconds before being removed from the list. Another aspect that i'm unsure about is why the locations don't constantly appear next to the names of online friends. is that a bug in the app, or something with Second Life itself?

Thanks for your comments. They are always appreciated! There are a lot of additional features I'd like to add but I'm just lacking time right now to get serious at it. But more features will come.

As for why some locations appear for some friends but not for others, this is determined by your friends themselves. Those that show with their location have given you the permission to see them inworld on the map. Those that don't well, they didn't give you that permission...
