Has anyone tried this with NetShare app? Will it handle the port forwarding so Firefox, Mail, or World of Warcraft?

NetShare needs something completely different, namely an app that can tunnel traffic through a SOCKS proxy. So no, Lighthouse won't help you here, unfortunately.
