~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.searchhistory.plist

Rrelaunch Mail.

Close, but not quite. This lets Mail open without crashing, but then as soon as I try to click on any messages in my inbox, it crashes anyway.

Launch, and don't click messages.
Click on the mailbox and from Mailbox menu, rebuild.
