Been trying to install all day. Backup speed HAS NOT improved.

iTunes almost looks dead - progress bar hasn't moved in an hour, phone turns off, doesn't display any messages like "backing up" or "restore in progress". Shouldn't it stay on during the entire process - like it does during syncing?

I started this process 4 hours ago and the backup is maybe 1/20th complete. It is moving, but its moving with the speed of rotting garbage.

Another disappointing Apple brick.

Won't Install - Tungsten2K

How can the backup speed be "not improved" when you are still trying to update it ? Of course the backup speed will be glacier-like, because the firmware isn't installed yet !

Misinformation !
