I downloaded it and used it in 2007 on my iMac G5 PPC with Tiger. It worked well and I downloaded a few songs I could not find anywhere else. Because Gnutella itself is garbage. The idea was fine, the execution was shit. The spammers, porn-pushers and fakers figured it out years ago, and Gnutella has since been a wasteland of worthless crap.BitTorrent has its own problems, but nothing you can't steer clear of if you follow a couple of simple rules (never download rars, never pay for torrents). Gnutella is a minefield.

It's written in Java. It doesn't instal any system stuff. How is it bad for you Mac?Works fine here, but it's a resource hog. But not any more than Safari 3.1.2.
