We do, indeed, need something like this for Mac. Last summer a keystroke logger snagged my credit card numbers. Fortunately, the banks caught it before too much damage was done. I had Internet Cleanup after that. I liked the fact that it let me know when who was snooping etc. The only thing was was that it trashed my computer--I had to take it to the shop to remove all the IC bits and pieces. Apparently, it's common with IC for that to happen. I'm basically a techno-weinie so I'm looking for an effective piece of software that will take care of me without too much bother. ProtectMac sounds good but I'm scared to death the same thing could happen since the description is similar. I'll keep my eye on this and wait for more comments.
