After 4 efforts over various weeks to update using the menu... it always downloads an image and then says the image is defective and freezes the whole program... then through the whole web page sign in thing to do it all over again and find the same issues. Hey, the reason i own a MAC is all the time i save, you appear to be wasting a lot of our time with this defective update system, and defective dmgs. Please fix this, thanks.

I just had a update nightmare too - Cowicide

I updated to 5624 so I could run Ubuntu 8.1 with Parallels tools and the update caused every OS image I had (including Ubuntu) to not start. It would just beachball until I force quit Parallels.

So now I'm simply stuck with an install of Unbuntu 8.1 without Parallels tools which practically makes it useless to me.

The update instructions were incredibly limited. There was no mention if I needed to shut down the OS images or anything.

I am very dissapointed with this company and am seriously eyeing moving to the competition.
