I have a Microtek ScanMaker 6800 and have had no way of using ScanWizard for years due to the lack of support for older Microtek Scanners.

I purchased VueScan, and now have full access to my scanner in Leopard - something that Microtek do not seem to be bothered with sorting, which I find absolutely shocking.

Thank you Hamrick Software for providing an excellent solution to all of us who use slightly older scanners.

Microtek STINKS...
I purchased a S400 scanner a while back. The moment I upgraded to Leopard, scanner goes obsolete. Microtek support no help. They said they were not going to update driver for my S400 period, with no options available to me. Vue Scan also did not develop a driver. Thank God for Silverfast. They offfer a perfectly functioning driver and the greatest support too. So again I say "Microtek you STINK."
