Jesus, if you guys have brains enough to post comments here, why don't you have brains enough to read some of the posts?

Don't use the AutoUpdate feature. Download the installer, and install it in Safe Boot mode.

You can *censored* all you want to about the AutoUpdater and how it can't find your installation (or whatever) ...you can even post reviews about the "hours" you spent jacking around with the AutoUpdater ... what the freak? Bypass the AutoUpdater and just download the update and install it.

I just finished installing the update on 10 clients without a single snag.

Don't Use AutoUpdate - kevwatts

OK, Snarky.

Did you what you said, still doesn't work. Exactly the same error message. So all your dripping sarcasm hasn't helped anyone.

Thanks.

Don't Use AutoUpdate - lveillette

Sure and while you're at it, don't use the brakes on your car. They seem to be there to do the braking, but really, only the manual park lever works...

What a way to encourage/force proper software development...

What a way to encourage people to avoid software piracy by making them pay more than their fair share of money, so they can end-up with crappy applications and be insulted in help forums.

Don't Use AutoUpdate - man de hu

I can't even get the Update install. Clicking on the link all I get is:
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage [snip]"

So what the muck should I do?
