To fix the shutdown script on Mac OSX, open up the "bulldog.shutdown" file (located in the Bulldog Application folder /Applications/Bulldog/) with a text editor. And replace its contents with:

#Command.Shutdown for Mac OS X
sudo shutdown -h now
