After using Firefox without issue for several years, Firefox 3.0.1 has serious issues on our machines running 10.4.11

Any added, deleted, or changed bookmarks refuse to stick after a Firefox restart. This is noted in several user postings on the Firefox discussion boards. This is 100% repeatable on all of our intel macs. Even after deleting the user profile, and a completing a clean install of Firefox, the problem returns after the first restart. The bookmarks revert to the previous version. The only solution is to export your bookmarks in a HTML file before quitting Firefox, then re-importing that file upon restart. Weird!
