The idea behind Odysseus is great. But it must deliver. The current 1.0b2 is not at all equivalent to Eudora 6.2.4 on Mac. I would call it version 0.1 instead. Time will tell if the goal is reached. Our money is ready and waiting for that: the very same interface and look and feed than the fantastic Eudora.

Infinity can't deliver - bernie90210
I'm not so sure that it's a great idea to be copying an app whose basic design dates from the late 80s. But in any case, Infinity Development doesn't appear to be an outfit capable of pulling it off. So many broken self-imposed deadlines, grandiose claims and promises. In its current state, this is most definitely not an alternative to Eudora, which runs fine under Leopard and Tiger. For those who hated Eudora's UI, Odysseus actually looks worse, because it's coded using RealBASIC.Reply to This
