All day today I've been looking for some software which could capture pages of my web site Relativity Calculator [ www.relativitycalculator.com ] in either png, jpg or pdf. I have Snapz Pro 2.1.2 which is good for video and capturing part of the screen and I also tried Adobe Acrobat Professional version 7.1.0 which is good in keeping links available; however, Acrobat Professional did not export to png nor to jpg and besides the visual image in pdf was nothing compared to Web Snapper. Maybe the latest Acrobat Professional 9.0 will be an improvement, still I am extremely impressed with Web Snapper. Really! It is fast, it is convenient, it allows for a Safari button to speed up the capture process for an entire page. For those who complain that it captures an entire page and this may require a bit of Photoshop cropping, I say good and well to this capability. Better to capture the entire web page and then do cropping rather than having to estimate what amount of page length to first capture as some of these other softwares require with much time and energy expended in this effort. I also used Web Snapper on another rather complicated page of mine, http://www.relativitycalculator.com/energy_doppler.shtml, and it did so marvelously. I will now also both purchase Web Snapper as well as forward this posting directly to the folks at Web Snapper. Best of everything, Don Saar, drdonzi@crocker.com PS: Web Snapper did not do so well in pdf capture but this is just about similar to Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.1.0 as I've already stated for this software.
