dmg doesn't mount

I downloaded the .dmg.bz2 file and invoked it, which resulted in a .dmg file being created. When I invoked this file, nothing happened, so I invoked DiskImageMounter using this file and got an error window saying "no mountable file systems".

I have no problems with the other hundred or so .dmg files I have.

System Info:OSX 10.5.4, MBP 2.16 GHz, 2GB Core Duo
