As many looking here may know, PsyncX does not run correctly in Leopard. However there is a way to get it working again. Check out <http://factoryjoe.pbwiki.com/GettingPsyncXToWorkOnLeopard> for instructions to reinstall specific files and get back to getting your disks backed up :)
Good luck and YMMV!

Getting PsyncX to work in Leopard - dgerrity
I'm new to Perl so I have no idea whether this will help but under 10.5.6 I had to change the CPAN configuration to use 'sudo make' instead of make. For my installation, the MacOSX::File package installation was failing because of permissions.$ cpan

Getting PsyncX to work in Leopard - renuwadhwa
I have been using Psync as my daily backup on Leopard on Mac Pro Machine. Recently the machine broke and I changed to i-Mac and leopard running on it. Psync 2.2.2 stopped working on this. I really want it back. Please suggest how can I get this to workTuesday, March 03 2009 @ 08:00 PM PST
Getting PsyncX to work in Leopard - bjonhigh
I've been using PsyncX for awhile without any problems. I just upgraded to a new intel mac with Leopard. (I was using PsyncX 2.1.1 on 10.4) I installed 2.2.2 and when it asked me to donate, I went ahead and did so, since it worked so well for me previously. I then tried to set up a new backup and I am getting the "Can't locate MacOSX/File.pm in @INC" error. I checked in the forums and followed the steps suggested by factoryjoe and I am still having the problem. I assume my perl installation is probably messed up and I don't have any idea how to fix it. When I use cpan to install MacOSX::File it runs fine but ends this way:Checking if your kit is complete...
Looks good
Writing Makefile for MacOSX::File::Catalog
Writing Makefile for MacOSX::File::Copy
Writing Makefile for MacOSX::File::Info
Writing Makefile for MacOSX::File::Spec
Writing Makefile for MacOSX::File
-- NOT OK
Running make test
Can't test without successful make
Running make install
make had returned bad status, install seems impossible
any ideas? Thanks
