Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

When I drop a file or folder on Encrypt I get this fantastic message

http://tinyurl.com/66sdnu

OR

I get a panel asking for a password and a verification, which I duly fill out, click OK. Then the panel disappears, and the B/W propellor cursor appears... indefinitely. But static, not turning. I.o.w. it hangs, and requires a Force Quit to get out of.

But that's all. Nothing else happens. The file or folder is still as accessible as it was before. No panels asking for passwords or anything. Zilch!

This is on OSX.5.4

Looks like an Alpha 'release' to me. Using Joe Public as guinea pigs...

The error in the screen shot from the "tinyurl" link in your comment indicates a possible problem with some key files on your installation of Mac OS X. Some of the key errors in that message were "...no suitable image found...," "...wrong architecture...," "...bundle, not loaded...," and "...Cannot find function pointer." These are all likely due to a damaged Mac OS X installation. I've successfully tested "Encrypt This" on Mac OS X 10.3.9, 10.4.11, 10.5.2, and 10.5.4 with no errors. You could try running a permissions repair on your system disk and reboot, but I'm not sure that will fix the plethora of errors you're seeing.
