This was the first add-on I purchased over a year ago when I bought my new MacBook Pro. I knew I needed a product similar to that which I used on my PC. I simply cannot imagine owning a Mac, and not owning Speed Download. If you have never tried it, do so, you will be glad you did. The software is not a memory hog, it is quick, it does what it claims (and more), and it is backed by a software company that understands customer support. Oh, one last thought... in my opinion, it is worth a heck of a lot more than 25 bucks.
