I was wondering, why does a game need a software update tool? Answer: to fix bugs in the software update, of course!

This is a neat game but I suspect the frequent updates are a way of bringing it back to the main page. It worked too, I played version 1.7.9 after deleting an earlier one after getting stuck. Good for adventure game nostalgia but much more linear than Myst. Not so tough, that's a good thing.
