Shame on the developer

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

We are served with lots of hype and glowing reviews, but the installation file cannot be opened with the latest OS. Can't write the developer. It is a huge waste of time trying to get to the bottom of this. I give up. It doesn't work, cannot be installed.

Shame on the developer - nout72

There's a simple solution to this: when the file is downloaded you'll notice it is called QS.3815.dmg.bz2.
Rename it by removing ".bz2" and you'll be able to unmount the diskimage

re: developer shame & simple soln - AlTerego1

It would be a simple solution if the file was named as you mention but it's not - it's just a good ol' .dmg file that won't load fer nuthin'. I've DL'd it from different sites, tried opening it on different computers. NADA.
Still, there must be just a few of us having trouble or there would be more of an uproar I'd think.

Also, when you try to DL an older version from Quicksilver's site clicking on that link is a dead end.
