How to rid my iTunes of the effects of this?

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Based on the endorsements in MacWorld magazine, I downloaded and tried the demo.

I was very unhappy with the effects. And trashed all plists application to no avail.

I am heartbroken. There are effects that remain in my iTunes that I cannot get rid of. Even re-imported a cd and it sounds like it's in a big hall.
Ugh!

I have been building and using my iTunes library for 5 years.

What to do?

How to rid my iTunes of the effects of this? - griff--2008

It appears that Hear has installed some detritus in various places on your hard drive that are still there when you trash the application. I would suggest that you download an application cleaner that looks in all places on your drive and gives you the choice of trashing all associated files and resources. I use Hazel to do this for me, but there are plenty of others around. Once you get one of these, I would re-install Hear and then drag it to the trash. With an Application cleaner, you would then get a window showing the files that are associated with that application and the option to either trash them as well or leave them where they are.

Hope you are able to resolve the problem!

Use Uninstall - Prosoft

Hi there,

Because of the type of application that Hear is, you have to use the uninstaller to remove all pieces that are in place. Simply deleting the app and other items won't get all the pieces, which is why we have the uninstaller as part of the application..

Go ahead and load the demo of Hear back on then just choose "Uninstall" from the main Hear drop down menu item.. You'll have to do a restart after the uninstall.

cheers--

Prosoft-
