Recommend Product: NO

Running 10.5.4 on Intel iMac. Barely launches when it crashes. Very old version (4.2.198.2451) works with all the warts since 'fixed.' Downloaded from the application's help "Check for updates". Did not indicate that update was a beta. Perhaps my expectations are set too high, but if a beta is released that does not even launch, is it worth releasing?

Every version of Google Earth to date has been a Beta.

Same here, this should be in Alpha - Cowicide

This shouldn't even be at the beta stage, this is a very unstable alpha. shame on you google for wasting our time.
