Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

I too have upgraded (seemingly downgraded) to the 2.0 software using the latest version of iTunes. My phone now is no longer usable. When trying to sync my phone to iTunes it gives me
"An unknown error occurred (-9838)". Any clues Apple?!

Yes. Just keep jacking around with it. Unplug the iPhone from the computer and plug it back. I *think* the deal is that the iTunes store is overwhelmed or something, and the phone can't reach the store to activate. Eventually, if you keep messing with it a bit, it will get the connection it needs to the store and the phone will come to life.
