Well, I love iTunes and my wife & I both have an iPod touch. The new update was supposed to allow some sort of remote function on the ipod touch after downloading an application from iTunes. We did that but can't see how the remote works. There's no instructions and although it shows we downloaded "Remote" it doesn't "do" anything that we can see.

New iTunes Update- iPod Touch - Eric M

You will need the updated iPhone/iPod Touch software (2.0) that is due out tomorrow. Until then, consider iTunes 7.7 and all the Apps as priming the pump. Once the 2.0 software is installed, you should be good to go.
