Continues to suck... - truder1

Please explain how, exactly, it "continues to suck." Otherwise your feedback is meaningless.

Correct, such ‘notes’, beside being vulgar, tell nothing about the issue. If some people dislike an application or utility or else they are free to not use it.

I have VMWare...it's asks for something called "Windows" to be able to Windows apps.

Do you know where I can find this "Windows"?

I agree. To say "it sucks" is pointless. I find just the opposite to be true. Hey, if you need to know Windows and a broad array of Windows programs, then ya, VMware Fusion is the best thing out there. But for me, all I needed was to know the Windows version of MS Office. Crossover runs that just fine. I can even use drag-and-drop to open documents. It doesn't require as much memory as VMware. So, how, exactly, does this "suck?"

I just bought it, installed it and began trying to use it. Possibly the most confusing s/w I have ever seen. Has it's own "language" for things, very unMaclike, confusing directions, etc. I'm aghast. I've been using Macs since my first 512K in 1986 and I've never seen anything like this mishmash. I just hope to hell I can get someone on the phone tomorrow to walk me through it. I'm totally lost. So I must conclude that in terms of most Mac software, it really does suck!

I can certainly sympathize with what you feel when confronted with such un-Mac-like stuff. BUT 1. you might have explained it (as you ended up doing and those comments WERE helpful) 2. the repulsive stuff you had to confront may simply come from the fact that you are dealing with PC software, and that the problem comes from PC. I personally have the feeling of confusion and ill-being each time I am in front of a PC.
