Besides it says: 10.4 and higher, it is not compatible with 10.5.4
When you use Growl for Mail, the connection is dropped to 0 when you download your emails.
Why is Growl still not compatible with Leopard after these updates?

Dump Growl and EVERY file, visible and invisible, associated with it (might have to use a better find app than Apple's, like EasyFind - Growl's uninstall script is pretty useless), reboot, running AppleJack for good measure. Not for Leopard Mail - SNelson
I’ve had this same problem for almost 1 ½ years and currently cannot use Mail.app. It’s very aggravating. I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, digging, searching for what is causing the “load” to hang, but to no avail.Is there someone out there that has a solution. I want my Mail.app back.
