crap, crap, and crap...

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

I maintain a lot of Macs, and I still have trouble with flash player. Just now I installed it on my home machine (intel iMac, OSX 10.5.4). First, repair permissions, then use the adobe uninstaller, then install the 10.0.0.525 version, then repair permissions. I go to cnn and try to play something and I get the dreaded "...Please insure the Flash... is installed" I'm really, really tired of this. Sometimes I get it to work, and sometimes I don't. Maybe I have to wait for the full moon.

The version 9 worked, but the previous version 10 beta did the same thing. Just what magic am I lacking.

ps - crap, crap, and crap... - wraggj

just to add -- I did everything from an administrator account, and tested it on the same account. I have reinstalled version 9, and fortunately it seems to be working.
