i downloaded, installed and ran Reader 9 without a problem...which is how it's gone for me with most of the versions i've used. maybe some people have other software installed that's messing with Reader's ability to do its thing? haxies, maybe, or utilities that modify Open... and Save... dialogs? (though i use Default Folder X and that doesn't seem to interfere with Reader at all...)

just a thought...

huh... - NeoX360

Umm Well in the past, especially the 8.0 version, there was a serious problem that prevented it from being installed on some intel macs. 8.0 had an intel version and yet it refused to install and would crash on my MacBook which is completely vanilla. I don't use haxies or system mods of any kind. So saying that haxies are to blame is letting Adobe off too easy... That said I can only assume that 9 fixes these issues.
