I've tried various "get album art" widgets in the past with mixed results. After consolidating my iTunes libraries I had 170 GB of music and a lot of missing art so I decided to give this appĀ a try.
I'm really glad I did, as it has helped me supply the missing artwork to hundreds of albums.
I liked the Google search options, the way that results can be viewed and compared quickly, the clipboard for saving choices and the ability to edit the album image (which I used to scale images up or down to eliminate annoying white edges).
I also like the way CoverScout will associate the album art with the songs internal tagging instead of residing in an external folder (the iTunes default method). This way, when I create a new library, the album artwork will still be with the songs.
Note: My iTunes music is on an external drive and this did not cause any problems in CoverScout.
