1. This looks like it'll fix some real-world bugs I've had with Office 2004 for -a long time-.
2. It includes the OOXML stuff. (I've been using NeoOffice and/or iWork to open them, and also pointing out to the sender that those formats are not approved where I work.)
3. And it's a COMBO RELEASE!
I got it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B6D69814-0995-490D-909A-5EC6AE6F64F0&displaylang=en

Well, it does fix at least one problem in PowerPoint rendering images that it previously render (such as my project's title slide graphic :-) It's still painfully slow in rendering, but better slow than "not" or "crash". So after 2 days of usage, so-far-so-good.You have to install the OOXML interpreters as a separate download. But they do seem to work. I got an .xlsx document that the OOXML interpreters opened in MS Office 04. (I previously opened that document with NeoOffice :-)
