os x 10.4.11
DL'd and launched geotagger and...nothing! shows up on my menu bar, but absolutely nothing else happens, no window where i can drag/drop pics. what gives?

Have you read the Read Me file or the website? The idea is to drag your photos on to the Geotagger icon (in the Dock or in the Finder). It then gets the coordinates from Google Earth and writes the info into the images. Geotagger itself has and needs no interface other than it's icon.
