Can't get it to open

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Emac, 1GB ram, OSX 4.11
Previous version worked fine and it was an excellent piece of kit, but this download doesnt seem to open on a double click after I've downloaded it and opened the dmg file. Anyone got any advice?

RTFM (you need to be running at least Security Update 2008-002 or later or it won't run)
