Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I bought CS3 specifically so that I could move to Leopard. Well, I moved to Leopard this week after a hard drive crash. After spending three days installing apps and getting things back up and running, I got to the very last app, Photoshop CS3, and it refused to install, basically telling me that I have to reformat my hard drive just because Adobe couldn't be bothered to actually test their software on case sensitive filesystems.

It would take all of a day of developer work to fix all of their problems. Hell, I could write a script that would fix their code automatically in a few hours. As such, this puts Adobe's level of ineptitude even greater than that of Microsoft.

Mac OS X has supported case-sensitive boot filesystems since 10.0. Adobe has to be the most incompetent software company on the planet. Even Finale works on case-sensitive HFS, and that used to be about the buggiest app I'd ever used.

Adobe should be ashamed of themselves, and I want my money back. Biggest waste of money I ever spent.
