I realize this is a really stupid question for those who are very familiar with this software and for that, I apologize in advance. I cannot figure this out. I have tried converting AVI files to DVD formats and still cannot find any video_ts files which I can burn and play on my DVD player. I have an old player and unfortunately it's not as sophisticated as the newer ones that can play AVI files.
If anybody can direct me to what exactly I need to set the target format to and where to get these TS files, I would really appreciate it.

I use DVD mpeg2enc conversion. On the Options panel, make sure Author as DVD (Video_TS) is selected. That should create a folder containing the video_ts data - you can burn the contents of the folder to a DVD (I think this can vary by version though - I could have sworn it used to create a disk image, but the current version creates a DVD folder).Reply to This
