Yeah, I like what it does. It's well-done. It's also no longer worth my while. The repeated B.S. of updating has become ridiculous. Thousands of other developers have managed to figure out how to get updates to the people who paid for their products. But with Saft, every complaint on this thread complains (rightfully) about the same thing. What should be simple turns into this maddening quest for something CORRECT from the developer. Links that don't do what they should, numbers that just don't work, emails that go unanswered. I've put up with it for about three years, and I'm very f***ing finished with it.
Although I paid for a full version, I had to find a bootleg torrent version. I've got it installed now, but I'm actively looking to replace Saft once and for all.
For a program that has to be updated as frequently as Safari's updates, this kind of nonsense means you're caught with a useless program. This guy needs to get his s**t together, simple as that.

I meant to say "extensions", not "plugins" for Firefox.Monday, June 02 2008 @ 08:49 AM PDT

You really should move on over to Firefox 3. It's very stable, and with a few plugins, you have a browser that's vastly superior compared to Safari. I also used Saft with Safari a couple of years ago and it was too painful to deal with.Reply to This
